| BACKGROUND |

In 2013, the song “Get Away” was the first single released for the legendary hip-hop group ‘De La Soul’. This was their then upcoming first album in 9yrs so expectations were high. This was the video created using throwback elements throughout the video as we follow a rubix cube move around the room.

A custom rig and script was created to animate the rubix cube being able to rotate and be influenced over each row/column. It was also rigged to be able to dynamically animate the changing pivots since the cube was constantly changing shape.
